DHA is behind the developmental benefits and as such you want to get at least 250mg of DHA per 1000mg supplement. Just check the label or website to see the relative amounts.
It is also good to use regular fish oil as opposed to the many children’s oils available as they tend to be more pure and don’t contain additives or colourings which are unnecessary.
